What this Blog Is

This blog is the referring blog for the photoblogs I have made of trips I've taken.  To date the trips include:

1) India in 2012 which included Delhi, Agra, Kalakho, Rajistan, Jaipur, Mysore, Palakad, Kerala (including the Kerala Backwaters, Kochi, and the Himachal Pardesh (Himalayan foothills and the village of Sidhbari).  Most of the trip was taken under the auspices of Road Scholar although the time in Himachal Pardesh was done privately.

2) London, Paris, and the Canal du Midi of France in 2013.  The trip along the Canal du Midi was done on the barge Caroline (www.bargecaroline.com) while the London and Paris parts were done privately.

3) Southern Africa including parts of the Republic of South Africa (Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth, Knysna, Mossel Bay, Klein Karoo, Grootboos, Hermanus, Franschook, Stellenbosch, Cape Town, Manyeleti Game Preserve), Chobe National Park in Botswana, and Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.  It also includes our stop in Frankfurt, Germany on the way there and a stop in London on the way back.  Most of the Southern Africa portion of the trip was taken under the auspices of Road Scholar while the remaining parts were done privately.  This photoblog is still in progress with a new blog posting about every 4 days.
